Santa Was Here!

We had soo much fun opening all the presents on christmas morning... it is going to suck when I have to let him open them for himself! He really enjoyed trying to put the bows in his mouth and as you can see below... sucking on the tags! :)

This thing he is sucking on here is a rattle from my sister Brenda... I had been rattling in to him for weeks now. The wrapping paper was almost worn off. Once he opened it, he kept it until we were all finished. :)
I think he is saying... "Clothes?"
I thought it was cute that he looked genuinely interested in everything!
All done opening and Santa brought him this big dino toy! Love it!

Christmas Eve!

Well Christmas Eve was a huge success. We will post some pictures later but Bob and I just wanted to thank everyone for coming. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed spending Christmas Eve with all of you! Oh... and Jack wanted to thank everyone for all the kick ass gifts! :)

Cookie... Cookie... Cookie!

Jackson had his first cookie today and it was super stressful. I kept thinking he is not going to be able to swallow this... but he did. He gagged a couple of times and puked once but all in all I think he did pretty good. What I gave him was these things called Mum Mum's. They are made from rice and they basically melt in his mouth but it allows him to bite and chew a little bit.

Happy birthday to my friend Jenn. Have a great day and I wish individual presents... one for Christmas and one for your birthday from everyone! :)

Baby Shower!?

Tonight I just happened to be getting a shower just as Bob was giving Jack his bath... so he brought him over to me. I took him in the shower and he seemed nervous at first but I eased him under the spray and he loved it! It was so much fun... we can't wait to start swimming in January! Sorry no pictures of this event! :)

OH and Happy Birthday to my big brother Keith! If you are still alive out there in Campbell River... :)

Ahhhhh!

It is so hard but so cute to watch Jackson sitting playing by himself. He just entertains himself with the toys... until he falls over and then he needs me again.

More Presents!

Jackson got more presents in the mail today and he is getting really excited about Christmas!

All I Want for Christmas....

is my two front teeth! That's right I heard the spoon clank myself. He has been really fussy the last couple of nights, up every two hours through the night, fussy during the day and always seems hungry. Today I tought maybe he is teething so I stuck my finger in and thought I felt something... then I remembered reading the spoon idea! So I ran to the drawer and shoved the spoon in his mouth and... clank clank! It is barely poked through the skin but it is there! Woo Hoo and guess what he is even cuter with a tooth! :)

We received the most wonderful letter in the mail today! It was for Jackson from Santa Claus... it made me cry. If anyone had anything to do with this, I thank you very much!

Okay... I love Jackson, he is after all my son! I love him like I have never loved anyone before but... we received another parcel of presents today from my sister Brenda in BC and here is what was in the parcel...

Jackson had a play date with some friends... girl friends! Kerris was born on Aug 17th and Ashlyn was born on June 22nd. Fun... fun... fun!

New Favorite!

My sister sent this toy to Jackson when he was just born. We just got it out because Jack has been sitting up by himself and needed some taller toys to play with and he loves it!

Tis the Season!

Jackson helped Mom & Dad decorate the house today... he is more fascinated with the presents then with the lights and tree ornaments. Christmas is going to be very fun this year and I suppose for every year from now on! :)

Yum, Yum, Yum!

Tonight was Jackson's first experience with cereal! It went rather well. I think he knew how to swallow it, not too much came back out! He was pretty excited about half way through and started grabing the spoon and pulling it to his mouth. It was fun!
