He's Big!

Here is Jackson with his friend Zachary. Zachary is mine and Bob's godson. They came over for dinner and a playdate. It's funny... now that we actually have toys for him to play with, he plays with the dogs toys!

Night Out!

Bob and I went out on Friday night and Jackson went over to his cousins for the evening! He had such a great time he didn't want to go to sleep! Here he is with my godson Brendon at bath time!

Trooper!

Jackson was at the doctor's office today for his 4 month boosters and his check up! He weighs 15 lbs 8 ozs and is 26 1/2 inches long. He took his needles great, he's my strong little boy.

I think getting him there was the hard part. It has been snowing all day and it was my first time out with him in weather like this! Stressful!

New Friends!

Jack is going to have two new friends early next year! My two nieces, who just happen to be sisters are both pregnant! Here they are below at Marie's wedding. Marie on the left is due April 25th and had her ultrasound today and found out she is having a boy. Pamela, on the right, is due on May 3rd and is scheduled to have her ultrasound on Dec 2nd. I'll let you know what she is having! Yeah, Jack doesn't even know yet but he's already getting two new friends!

Sitting Around!

Jackson can sit by himself for a few minutes now. It seems weird for him to be sitting all by himself not needing me to hold him up! :( Notice I still can't move my hand very far from him... I guess I am still a bit nervous!

Bunnies... !

This is Jackson with some bunny rabbits. Why you might ask? The bunnies to the right and left are Jackson's dads from when he was a little boy. The one in the middle is Jackson's new bunny from his nanny Woodland. She gave it to him when he was born.

To prove it, here is a picture of Bob and his brother Paul in 1979 when he got the little orange bunny from the easter bunny! Cool huh!

Rolly... Polly!

Jackson was playing with his new ball from his nanny Pastuck today... it encourages crawling. It at least encouraged him to roll over on to his belly... I think he shocked himself when he did it. :)

More Fashion!

Jackson picked up quite a few new duds in Nova Scotia. Here he is sporting his new leisure suit from his nanny Woodland. I love this outfit because it is so soft and comfy! Keep posted to see the rest of Jackson's new outfits... aren't ya just on the edge of your seats! Don't judge me... I'm a mom!

Here Comes Santa Claus... !

Jackson met Santa Claus this weekend and I think he likes him. He slept the entire time in the stroller and then woke up happy just before I set him on Santa's lap! I'm also loving the faux hawk he is sporting lately. :)

Unbelievable!

The other night, Jackson was sleeping on my shoulder. I could feel his chest expanding against my own, and his little breaths on my neck. Sometimes, he would catch his breath and sigh. The fact that I had made something that had lungs and could breathe on its own, was so out there that it boggled my mind. I am mesmorized everytime I look at his fingers, toes and those perfect little lips! Sigh....

They Meet... Finally!

Jackson finally got to meet his Dad's best friend Blaine's little boy... Noah! Noah and his Mom Kelly are in New Waterford visiting Blaine's family so we went to finally meet them. Noah is 11 months old and now lives in Grand Prairie, Alberta. I think they got along great!

This was purely platonic! :)
I think Kelly wants another one already Blaine!!

Playing Around!

Jackson spent the morning playing at my parents house. He reached for me twice today!! That's makes a Mom feel good!

A Day of Firsts!

Today is shaping up to be a day of firsts! At 6:00 am this morning Jackson woke up soaked... his diaper had leaked. I stripped him off and while he was naked he managed to get his toes in his mouth! I can't imagined how it tasted but soo cute!!
