Second B-day Party!

We were invited to a dinner party at my friend Jen's house today for dinner. It was awesome... good food, good drink and good company! He received some really nice gifts and had a great time being chased by her 2 boys!

Jackson and I have been hanging out these last couple of Fridays and today we had a play date with some friends we haven't seen in a little while! We had a great time but I drank way too much coffee... but what can I say, Dana makes better coffee then Tim Horton's!

I'm Walking!

Big News Everyone! My baby is walking! I am nauseous right now... Jackson just started walking and didn't stop. He let go of the coffee table and walk about 6 steps to Bob so I quickly turned on the camera. Then he turned around and walked to me! Now you get to see it cause of course it is on video! Now I recommend you watch the movie with the sound down because I am a blubbering idiot! :)

Playtime!

Jackson had so much fun playing with Zachary today! You can really see that being over Ingrid's in the day with the other kids is really socializing him! He plays pretty good for a 1 year old!

BBQ!

We had a bbq today with some friends from Nova Scotia! We had such a great time. Especially Jackson, he tried some new food and had a great time playing with Zachary. More pictures and a movie coming!

My 2nd Family!

Jackson and I had play date at the park today with Ingrid, Tristan, Famke, Aiden and Cia. They are jackson's second family... he goes to daycare with them everyday! I was I had gotten a better picture of Ingrid but she moves so fast it is hard catch her! I guess that is a good thing when she takes care of 5 kids! Tristan and Famke, in the back, are Ingrid's and Aiden and Cia, in the front, are her nephews. They are all sweaty from running around the park!

It is freakin hot in Waterloo!!! My poor sweaty little baby... the heat is really affecting his gorgeous blonde locks! He looks deranged!

One Year Checkup!

Jack and I were at the Doctor's office this morning for Jackson's one year appointment. He received two needles and he did great! Don't get me wrong... he screamed his face off while looking at me questioning why I would let someone do this to him, let alone hold him down while she does it. :( All and all he did better than I could have ever hoped, as per usual!

He is getting to be a big boy! He weighs 22 1/2 lbs and is 31" tall! He will also be moving from formula to whole milk... that should be fun! Wish me luck!

Oh and he walked 3 steps today by himself to his toy tote and we think he said bread!

Something New!!

Jackson now has plenty of new toys to play with... they kept him busy for the rest of the weekend.

This is the best party of the party... everything is just winding down and you can just sit around and sip on a beer! LOL

Cake!!!

We did the traditional "Jackson get's an entire cake to himself" at his birthday party! We really wanted to strip him down to just his diaper and let him go to town but it was just too hot and the backyard was like a frying pan so no naked cake eating! He did have a really great time sticking his fingers in the cake though!
